David Thornley - Return

My sailing resume started in the Fall of 2006 - a mere child on the sea due in large part to the good fortune of living in the same neighborhood as Kame and Sally Richards who invited me to join them on the estuary in a sweet sixteen race. Since that first sail I have had the opportunity to get to know the very talented crew on Golden Moon at the Wednesday night races and join a few regattas.

My 8-year old son Sam is also learning a thing or two about sailing and good fun. We met Dave and Sandy through Kame and Sally on the Beer Cans where we have had the good fortune to learn from the patient tutelage of the Richards. Dave and Sandy invited me to join them on their second Pacific Cup which has become a very important personal goal for me.
