Dave T stepping in for some writing duty while the kids on Compromise get their bearings. Two years preparing for 2008 have finally placed Dave E, Eliza, John, Leslie, and Sandy on their way to the Windy Reach that ain't so windy this week. I took photos from the deck of the SFYC awaiting the 13:30 start of Compromise along with seven other boats in Division B and a fishing boat joining the festivities. My face was buried in the eyepiece but it sure looks like Compromise got off to a great start. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Tom Paulling - Eliza's husband and fellow Golden Moon crew member - gets one shot on the Compromise blog. They had an excellent start.
