1st shift over - back on at 22:00
We successfully departed Kaneohe Yacht Club at 9:00 AM with blue water sailing on our mind. Sandy and Matt traded off duties driving while Lorraine and I had an opportunity to get to know the boat. I started driving by two in the afternoon and have since cat napped, driven again and now I'm in my 1st 4 hours off. Sandy set up a watch schedule that started at 6:00 PM and has us set for the crossing. We are double-reefed as we approach weather. Compromise is sailing smoothly and the crew is getting along well. We are very fortunate to have Matt Mauer with us.
